Eye makeup remover wipes

I hate removing my eye makeup with liquid remover. It gets into my eye and it bothers me, so I love eye makeup remover wipes. I've tried a few, but so far I have two favorites.

I love Neutrogena's makeup remover wipes because it really does get all of my makeup off. Downside, It's sooo oily! I have to wash my face right after because it feels so greasy. If you have very dry skin, this would be good for you. But if not, try their oil-free wipes. These are $6.49 and can be found  here

I also like Maybelline's Expert Eyes remover wipes. These don't remove as well as the Neautrogena ones do, but if you put a little pressure while removing then it works well. This product isn't greasy at all. I don't like the smell of these, they smelled like Wasabi when I first opened them. The smell is kind of going away now though. I think these wipes work better when I wear less makeup, if I wear a lot of eyeshadow and mascara then I need to use two. Overall, this is a great product! These are $6.99 for 50 at Walgreens. The product page is here

Shimmy

Recently my grandma, my friend Daphne and I went makeup shopping. I found a lot of great items, and some not-so great items.
One thing I bought was a shimmer pot called Shimmy by Julia Hewett.
I got it in "cleo".  I'm not absolutely crazy about this item, because you have to make sure you use a very very small amount when you're using it, or it will be too shimmery. It makes me look like I have a bit of a tan when I put a little on my cheekbones. I do like this product for my body though, it looks very pretty on my arms and collarbone! Because of how little of this you should use, this product will last a very long time. I would recommend this more for naturally darker women, not women who are pale. It's $22, you can get it at this website

I also got this Anastasia clear Brow gel, which I actually like. I usually get frustrated because my eye brows don't always stay in place, so this product is good for me! It's super easy to apply and super easy to get off. The only thing i'm not too fond of, is that it feels a bit like hairspray when you put it on and it dries. And if you accidently put too much, you can definitely tell! Other than that, this is a great brow gel. It separates and keeps in place. I also like that it's clear, so it's good for any color! It's $21 and you can get it at this website

I really really like this lipgloss! Daphne convinced me to get it, she said she really likes these glosses. This product promises to brighten your smile and freshen your breath, and it does! I love how you can smell the mintyness of this gloss after applying it. It feels minty too. I got this in the color Freedom of Peach, which is a color I think is good for my skin tone and hair color (Light beige and dark brown). I would definitely recommend this. Try to buy a color that you know would look good on you, like if you have another lip gloss in a similar color. Or get the blue one, called Happy Hour. That could be used on anyones skin tone. To find what stores near you this product is at, check on Covergirl.com but at Walgreens it's $4.99. You can find this product at this website

marshmallow bars

I took a trip to Sephora a week and a half ago and I looked at all the new products from Philosophy. I absolutely adored the Crispy Marshmallow Bars shampoo/shower gel/bubble bath. It smelled so amazing and I just had to get it. The smell is so sweet and surprisingly light. It works really well as a shampoo, the smell stays in your hair and it cleans well. The smell doesn't stay as well on my skin as I wish it would but it is still there. This is a great product and it's $16 at Sephora

I would definitely love this more if it was a lotion, but I just had to have it anyway.
But philosophy has a 3 piece marshmallow set for $22, which I will be getting asap!
You can get this Here

Favorites!

I have used so many different beauty products from different brands, I've tried expensive makeup and super cheap makeup, and i've found some favorites throughout all that.

My favorite mascara is the Falsies volum express from Maybelline. The spoon brush is a little harder to use than a normal mascara brush but when I got the hang of it that results were amazing. I get compliments all the time on my eyelashes. This mascara is way less clumpy than most, but it still might need a little cleaning up once in a while.
It's usually around 7 or 8 bucks but Ulta has it right now for $4.19 and Target has it for $5.

Another one of my favorites is the tinted moisturizer in neutral by Clinique. I use it as foundation because it covers very well but doesn't dry out my skin. It's $27 on clinique and sephora.

My favorite eyeshadow is Benefits creaseless eyeshadow in r.s.v.p. which sells for $19 on their website and sephora. I love this because the color is light and shimmery so if I don't have enough time to do all of my makeup, I just put this on with a brush.

I also love the eyeshadow from MAC in the color Mulch. It's $14.50. The color is a coppery brown that is a little sparkley and very pretty. I like putting this on the outer corner of my eyelid.

My favorite lip color is Buxom lips in Kanani. I love the color because I can go anywhere without makeup just wearing this color. It's a nice magenta color and it plumps but doesn't feel like normal lip plumpers do. It just feels minty. This sells for $18.

So those are my favorite makeup products, my next post will be my favorite bath and body products!

(i got the pictures from the companys website, except for the benefit eyeshadow and the lip gloss pictures are from lookfantastic.com)
